A masked intruder, respirator in place, strides in. With cold precision he snaps metal handcuffs onto Blake’s wrists and locks a heavy ankle brace around Kloe’s legs. As they groggily regain awareness, he jams tight gags into their mouths, his voice low and menacing: they are prisoners of his labyrinth forever. Then he vanishes, leaving them to writhe against unyielding steel, their muffled gasps echoing off ancient walls.
Moments later, Wonder Woman crashes through the door, her presence commanding. She yanks away the gags, and as Blake and Kloe describe the gas and the masked man, she fishes out spare keys and unlocks their restraints. “Run,” she orders, “I’ll handle him.” They flee into twisting corridors-only for fresh gas to billow from hidden vents. Wonder Woman staggers, strength draining. The masked villain reappears, triumphant: “I’ve been waiting for you.” He drapes a clinking bag of chains over her shoulders, shackles her despite her struggles, inserts a gag into her mouth, and departs, leaving her bound in irony-soaked armor….
