Labs, both Wondrous Woman and Wondrous Girl are assigned to the task of bringing the demented villain to justice before he makes good with his promise to blow up a school with it. As they infiltrate the Joker’s lair, their super-sensitive hearing picks up the faint tick-tock of a timer. Following the sound to its source, WW removes several pillows and reveals a ticking timebomb! Knowing that the device is pressure-sensitive, both women use their magic lassos and carefully wrap the massive bomb, letting the energies of the lassos neutralize the components of the explosive. As they do however the bomb unexpectedly activates, and in a flash of light the entire bomb shimmers away into nothingness instead of exploding mercilessly and blowing both amazons to smithereens. As the two heroines look quizzically on, Drusilla notes that when the bomb shimmered out of existence, it also took both of their magic lassos with!….
