Dr. Vibrato has escaped custody and revived his research into sonic vibrations and the science of using frequencies to control peoples’ actions. This renewed threat against the public has prompted Wunder Woman to track down Vibrato and put a stop to his wicked shenanigans once and for all. However, the Amazing Amazon does not know that she is really being lured into a trap that the fiendish physician has laid to get his revenge upon her. As we pick up this story, we first see Wonder Woman as she sneaks around the perimeter of Vibrato’s isolated and eerie HQ – unaware that he and one of his masked bodyguards are watching her on a monitor in his office, laughing at her vain attempts to avoid detection. In due time, Wunder Woman finds an unlocked door and gains access to the HQ itself. Though the place appears suspiciously deserted, she pays it no mind. She is focused on only one thing: finding Vibrato as soon as possible. To this end she searches one room after another – until she steps into a small hallway….
