The moment she touches it, a glowing aura pulses around her body. Her eyes glaze over. Her mind goes soft. The rope… whispers. By the time Wonder Man returns, Miss Mighty is in a trance-and then out of nowhere, she decks him with a punch that sends him reeling.
Shocked, Wonder Man has no choice but to fight back! He pleads with her to snap out of it, but the rope has already sunk its claws into her thoughts, spinning lies, feeding her paranoia. It tells her Wonder Man is the villain. That he must be tied, gagged, and silenced. She binds his wrists with the cursed rope, sapping his strength, and stuffs a tongue trapper gag in his mouth like the rope commands.
